Three Things To Know about Anchor Kids

We want church to be something that your kids look forward to going to!
So, that means it's got to be fun! Every month, we work hard to plan out each service to include fun elements for your child.
This includes songs, a lesson, and a craft that all have a common theme. Typically, this ties in with the adult service theme, when appropriate.
SHINE
Your child already shines. We know that - but we want to help them shine even more. How do we do that? By teaching them about Jesus and the love that He has for them.
Each child is unique and we help each one see how God has created each of them with different gifts!
SAFE
We background check all of our volunteers and put them through training to help ensure that your child is kept safe the entire time that they're in our care. In Anchor Kids, safety is one of our highest priorities. That's why we have a secure check-in system. Upon check-in, you'll receive matching identification stickers. Your child will need to wear their name tag sticker and you will need to keep the matching tag. You'll use this after the service to pick up your child.
What does Anchor Kids teach?
The Bible is the most amazing book ever written, and we strive to bring its stories to life through creative activities and discussions that keep kids engaged. We want every child to love God's Word and understand the value of applying it to their lives. We know they'll have fun each week as they learn about who God is through games, activities, and video teaching. All of this can't happen without our amazing volunteers.
As of right now, Anchor Kids is for ages 1-9 years old.
Anchor Kids utilizes the Life Kids curriculum. Life Kids is based out of Oklahoma and they seek to help kids connect. to God. You can find out more about them here.
